"ツツジ" is actually a plant that does not exist. It is a plant except "サツキ (satsuki)" and "シャクナゲ (syakunage)" of Rhododendron to call "ツツジ" in Japan.

More than 2000 kinds

Azaleas can be grown easily, so there are various kinds.

Golden Pavilion

This is "金閣寺（Kinkaku-ji）" in Kyoto.

It is the one of "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto" registered with a world heritage site.


"寺（ji or tera）" means a religion institution. It is buddhist temple in English.
