虹の松原(Niji-no-matsubara)

The origin of the name has two theories.
1. Originally, "二里の松原(Niri-no-Matsubara)" has been called, it changed over time.
※二里・・・ 4.97mile(8km)
2. Because its shape resembled a rainbow(虹,Niji).

The Japanese Black Pine along blue sea and white sand draw an arc like a rainbow.
