Tachindai

National Historical Site    The remains of Tokiwa Residence of Hōjō Family

  The residential buildings were constructed here for the Hōjō clan, including buildings for the 7th regent of the Kamakura Shogunate Government Masamura Hōjō. The chiseled flat area of the site is called "Tachindai". The name indicates the relation from the medieval land use.
  This chiseled flat section with surrounding man-made cliff was formed out of a V-shaped valley. The archaeological excavation of the site uncovered building foundations in favorable conditions. There are ceremonial tombs from 13th to 14th century called "Yagura" on the northwestern corner of Tachindai.
  The topography around Tachindai also maintains the landscape before the construction of residential buildings of Hojo family. The site is historical for its nature of buildings and medieval landscapes.

Narrow road continue for a while and I arrived in the vast place.
Proceeding further for the place, there was a large rock of some holes.
Seems to ruins.

Follow one's footsteps

This day visited Kōtoku-in(高徳院) of the Great Buddha.

On the way back, this sign suddenly appeared, and I had entered the forest without thinking.

Two parks

The former Yokohama Racetrack is Negishi forest park a part. The next visited the Harbor view hill park.
There is Rose garden,there were many people to sketch.

The building in the back is Yokohama Racetrack that was used in previous times.

Dream about a golden dragon

This is "天龍寺(Tenryū-ji)" in Kyoto.
As well as Kinkaku-ji which I introduced before, here is registered with a World Heritage Site.

Sky-blue sketchbooks

A contrail appeared suddenly.
It is drawing freely in the blue sky.

"Hikawa Maru(氷川丸)" has been berthed at the Port of Yokohama, has become a symbol there.

Until 1960, worked as a cargo-passenger ship in the North Pacific route, had gained popularity.
